Claire Young, owner of Young LNC has 25+ years of experience in Nursing, over 22 years in the Emergency (ED, Trauma, Critical Care) setting. Nurse Young received a Diploma in Vocational Nursing in 1998 and became a Registered Nurse with an Associates of Science in Nursing in 2000 from Mt. San Jacinto College, San Jacinto, California. She received a Bachelor in Science of Nursing and Public Health Nurse in 2012 from Western Governors University, Salt Lake City, Utah. Nurse Young has acquired and maintained a national certification with the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN) as a certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) for 16+ years. She also maintains current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and American Heart Association National Stroke Certification.
With 25+ years of experience in Nursing and over 22 years in the Emergency/ Critical Care setting, Nurse Young continues to work in the Emergency Department. She has acquired vast experience and expertise in adult and pediatric emergency nursing from various Emergency Department setting ranging from small to large community hospitals/ level II trauma center. She has over 10 years as a trauma team member at a level II trauma center, as well as over 14 years as a Mobile Intensive Care Nurse, MICN RN. Nurse Young has provided interfacility transport for critical and high-risk patients for over 10 years as a Critical Care Transport, CCT RN, for a large ambulance company.

Nurse Young is a union steward representing and educating nursing staff and making sure policy and procedures are followed. She works well in high-pressure environments demanding hard work, self-motivation, strong clinical judgment, and detail orientation. Her experience provides for a thorough knowledge of emergency nursing standards of care. She is able to communicate and interpret complex issues effectively utilizing strong analytical skills related to health care facts and issues.
